First Thursday

Hi everyone! I know it's been a million years since I've written on here, and I promise a real post sometime soon, but I wanted to alert you all to some goings on tomorrow night for First Thursday.

Some of us dancers will be putting on dance clothes and improvising down the
streets of the pearl for something we call Random Acts of Dance. We'll
be starting at 6:30pm at NW 13th and Glisan and working our way down
to 322 NW 6th Ave (on 6th between Everett and Flanders). If you want
to come and be an audience member and follow us around, that would be
great. We'll be handing out fliers for a benefit being thrown for us later that evening.

A company called Forkfly (www.forkfly.com) is
having a benefit for OBT at their headquarters (322 NW 6th Ave.).
There's going to be an auction, 2 fashion shows, prizes, a DJ, all
kinds of stuff. The doors open at 4:30pm with the bulk of the event
happening between 7pm and 9pm. Gavin, Adrian, Anne, and I will be
performing two works by Anne at 8pm. If you can't make it for Random
Acts of Dance, it would be great if you could make it to this; it
sounds like it going to be a very exciting and interesting event.
